Self-leveling Fassa SL416 it is a dry premix composed of special hydraulic binders with rapid setting and hydration and selected sands.
Use: SL416 It is used for levelling irregular cement-based surfaces or old ceramic floors indoors, with application thicknesses from 1 to 10 mm, when a short drying time is required to allow for subsequent rapid laying of the floors.
Processing: Pour and simultaneously mix a 25 kg bag of SL 416 in approximately 5.8-6.3 litres of clean water and mix with a mechanical stirrer or a slow speed machine until a smooth, lump-free mixture is obtained. Larger quantities of SL 416 can be mixed in common mortar mixers. SL 416 can also be applied with a pump. Do not attempt to restore lost workability by adding more water to the mixture. Wait 2 minutes before applying and then stir the mixture. SL 416 is easily spread in a single coat in thicknesses from 1 to 10 mm with a notched metal spatula or squeegee. Due to its high self-levelling qualities, SL 416 leaves no imperfections. If a second coat of SL 416 is necessary, it is recommended to apply it within and no later than two hours. Since it is a rapid product, laying wooden floors, ceramics, etc. can be carried out shortly after application (approximately 12 hours at +20°C): it is however necessary to lay the floors only after having checked that they are actually dry with a carbide hygrometer.
