RX 561 is a paste finishing coating composed of acrylic copolymers and special polysiloxanes in aqueous emulsion, selected aggregates, titanium dioxide and specific additives that improve its processing and adhesion. The product is protected from the development of a broad spectrum of algae and mold species.
USE
RX 561 is used outdoors as a coating for the decoration and protection of facades and, thanks to the nature of the raw materials used in the formulation, gives surfaces a rustic appearance. RX 561 is used on lime-cement base coat plasters, on skim coats reinforced with alkali-resistant glass fibre mesh and on the FASSATHERM external thermal insulation system.
APPLICATION
Spread the coating with a metal spatula, taking care to distribute a uniform layer of material on the surface. The coating is finished with a plastic spatula, using circular movements. The coating with a grain size of 0.6 mm requires the application of 2 layers of material. The application of the second layer must be carried out once the first has dried completely. For this grain size, it is recommended to use a metal spatula both for spreading the material and for carrying out the final finish.
