In non-through installations, the dowel is screwed in with a screwdriver or electric screwdriver so that it is flush with the plasterboard surface. Pre-drilling with individual panels is not required. When using gypsum fibreboard or double plasterboard, pre-drill with a Ø8 mm drill bit. The fischer GKM 12 is completely supplied with a chipboard screw with a countersunk head. It is therefore universally suitable for the quick and secure installation of lights, electrical systems and interior accessories.
- Thanks to its specific properties, GKM can be used for gypsum-fiberboard or plasterboard panels and with wood, self-tapping or chipboard screws. For this reason it can be used for numerous applications.
- The specific thread allows for a secure fastening and high seal.
- The cross head allows for screwing with a standard screwdriver or bit. No specific screwing accessory is required.
- The reduced length of the fixing results in a reduction of the space required on the back of the panel. As a result, GKM can also be used when the thickness of the panel and the depth are unknown.
